Turns out that picture I posted might have been Photoshopped anyway. You can't believe anything you see these days. That said, I stand by my statement that Lovren is an idiot. If you don't like that I think that, I don't care.

    That's it.

    Lean into it.

The team is 2 goals shy of scoring 400 goals under Klopp after playing 196 games.

Just curious why people are annoyed when it's mentioned that Keita has been rubbish? We all expected way way more from him considering the way people were tooting his horn and bigging him up as an instant upgrade, then waiting a year to sign him. No two ways about it he has contributed practically nothing but the good news is we're still doing decent enough without him.

I imagine some people's p1ss is boiling as Henderson is ahead of Keita in the pecking order.
No doubt there's a certain anxiety level too that a big fee player hasn't contributed anything of note in his first season.

Strange either way really, imo :)

Keita started slow, but showed flashes of brilliance. Robertson showed virtually nothing. But given time.......

It takes 6 months to a year to settle in. Don't judge anyone till then. Except VVD cos he's a God.

    I have a horrible feeling we'll struggle tomorrow:mad:

    Can I blame Keita?

By all means, he's in the naughty corner with Lovren - Les idiots du jour!

If you've been reading the thread you'll be well aware aware of why it's annoying. I don't see why you don't get it?

It's absolutely nothing to do with Keita being favoured above Henderson at all, it's because ANY mention of Keita, in any way, shape or form, regardless of context, and yourdeadright had an unbridled urge to say he's underwhelmed and disappointed. Repeatedly. At every single mention of the player. Without fail. And THAT grates. I don't know why you don't see this?

The general consensus among Liverpool fans is that he's underwhelmed, but has shown enough where we're hopeful that he'll come good. We don't need to be told any more, at every single mention of the player, that he's underwhelmed. It's apparent.

Game Day and start of the biggest end of season run we have had since 2014. Plenty of positivity Redmen and going 2-0 win today!

Id love a proper whipping, like we usee to give to spurs 4 or 5 years ago. 5-0 boys.
    Keita hat-trick and sturridge double:p

Yep, it’s pretty odd considering the last 4 years of throwing tantrums when there has been valid criticism made about Daniel.

    IMO of course:)

That wouldn't bother me anyway. I'm happy for Klopp to pick the team as he sees fit as he's the one seeing them perform every day.

As for the big fee - spending large sums on players to improve the starting 11 has become the norm for all teams competing on multiple fronts. Hell, even for teams that aren't competing that applies also without mentioning names!!

Not every piece of business is going to work out perfectly and that's fine. There's no need for anyone to get emotionally attached to such things.

I think Naby's time will come next season either way. He'll either push on or show he's not quite up to it. No more to it than that.

Nothing. Don't worry about it. I posted a picture that it turns out was probably Photoshopped and I called him an idiot. I apologise for posting the photo before verifying its authenticity but I still think he's an idiot. That's it really.

I’d take a crappy 1-0 win TBH. I don’t care how we get 3 points as long as we do

Same here. Spurs don’t scare me. I just hope we get a good referee.

It's Martin Atkinson so we didn't.

Still raging he didn't give Keita that penalty vs Leicester at Anfield.

    Winks & Dier are out.

A blow for Spurs since they have tended to play a midfiled diamond in recent games against us.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,404 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Dier out is probably more of a blow for us.

That's 7 straight wins for City, another 7 wins and it would be 14 wins on the bounce. Not impossible for them as they've done it before, but it's still a rare feat, and to do it on a title run in would be impressive.
We have two wins in a row, another 7 wins to make it 9 in a row, more feasible. Most Premier League games we've won consecutively is 11, we've won 9 in a row earlier in season, mid Nov-Jan 1st. I think if we match it we'll give ourselves every chance.

Always strikes me as one that goes out of his way to try show he's not swayed by the home crowd.

Spurs have only 1 point from the last possible 12 and sit one place off bottom in form table, only Fulham below them. That was some title challenge, looked odds on for 2nd when we were drawing a lot of games. Hope they don't return to form today.

They won 18 in a row last season but I agree its not a common thing. After Cardiff they have Palace, Spurs and United. If they don't drop points there I can't see them dropping them at all.

Yeah nicely done, still had a lot to do himself there after receiving the pass.

He does, even when that's at the expense of making the right ****ing decision. I'd be happy to have Michael Oliver ref every game of ours for the rest of the season. Best ref in the PL by a huge distance.
