i have Renault has deailes above After 1 minutes driving and move off my 2011 Grand Scenic 1.5dCi started to make a very loud rhythmic knocking / noise while driving in second gear. sometimes give big cloud of smoke When driving on third gear the noise seemed to disappear. The noise sound comes from the engine and i was wondering if any of you would have seen this problem before. Any help would be much appreciated before sending to the main dealer

Don't go to main dealer for a 8 year old car.
Ring local independent mechanics instead.

The problem you describe could be anything really.
Are there any warning lights lit up on the dashboard?
Has car a history with engine problems?
When was it last serviced?

thank you for respond just two weeks i did full service the local mechanic put the car in the diagnoses computer but nothing no warring light in dashboard the mechanic sad just drive fast with car need to drive i drove for more than 6 month but same issue Iam going to hate my car

One of the injectors may be putting too much fuel into the cylinder at certain revs. That can cause smoke and knocking and might not necessarily put the engine light on.

If it is an injector should be about €350 all in to replace it with a new one (I don't think they are repairable for your vehicle).

thank you very much about your respond, but the issue not always some time when i change the gear sheft to 1 and 2 but when i reach gear 4 its perfect no any issue when i claiming hill or bridge the issue wil appear clearly sometimes the car working perfect i took the car to more than 8 mechanic they put the car in the diagnoses devices the told me nothing your car perfect i will going to crazy ,,,from this car
