Compare Lexus GS450h to GS300h

Many thanks for any advice - I had a good look around and even though the post-2012 GS is nowhere near what it replaces - my sadly long-gone 2006 SE-L is still hankered after by the missus - I still cant think of anything better .

Dont want Audi or BMW - is there anything out there comparable ?

To be fair, the post 2012 GS is a decent car, and well capable of replacing the previous model. As said, the price was high here so people all opted for the 300 as soon as they came out instead, they have the 2.5 4-cyl hybrid, because they were a good bit cheaper. If you're not interested in the power aspect, you could get a well spec'd one of those.
Better go to the UK though and get a full-fat 450h, but they have gone up in value in the last 3 years due to increased demand for hybrid. But get one in before Brexit adds VAT to your import bill!
F-Sport or Premier are the ones you want to replace a SE-L with, ignore the Luxury model. Those top two are the ones that have upgraded seats and the wider screen, with many other extras, Levinson sound etc. that will be a match for your old SE-L.
