Back windscreen washer not working/ NCT?

Failed the NCT yesterday one of the reasons was "Windcreen wipers and washers (9)....."Not working/leaking"....but doesnt say front or back?

So my front one was blocked so have that sorted but also the washer isn't working on the back one- question is will the car fail again if the back one isn't fixed? :rolleyes:

Can understand the need for the front one but dunno about the back? Any ideas folks?

Rear wiper/washer is not tested at all - so only the front failed.

If the wiper is broken on the back you can pass by removing the wiper arm completely, so i assume its the same with the washer.

Things are things that arent compulsory on all cars but need to be working if present.
