Non use of motor vehicle tax question

    Hi All,

    Bit of a long story, bought a new car six weeks ago. Due to issues with the log book I only got the car in my name a week ago or so. The tax was out the end of Feb. I'm going to the tax sorted out tomorrow. But I'm confused about how to fill out the form. Do I declare the car out of action for the whole month of March? Is there a fine I have to pay? Any help is great, thank you.

    You will pay from the month it was registered in your name. So March onwards.

    When you go online to tax it , the website will give you your available options.
