Access to case ruling

    Hi,

Became aware of a case ruling in Oct 2014 where in 2010 three defendants were given suspended sentences for for Raping a then 14 year old girl (they were ca. 16 at the time but 20 or so at time of ruling).

One of the defendants is a League of Ireland footballer and while I understand cannot be named post injunctions, it seems to be common knowledge.

I'm posting though because the three were all from my local area of Leixlip and one still resides here and plays at a football club my daughter and sons are members of.

I also understand from limited research that there were varying degrees of culpability and that it may have been more than three involved.

My question is, is it possible to get more information on the case ruling and the rationale for the suspended sentences. I would like to educate myself before, for instance, making members of the football club aware of the situation.
