Hello, I tried to post this on the Law Student's subforum but I can't seem to access it so apologies if this is not the appropriate place.

I was just wondering if someone could give me a tl:dr of the Glencar Exploration v Mayo CoCo judgement, I'm not 100% sure where Mayo Coco failed in a duty of care? I'm a business student trying to write a law paper, I have no previous law experience and I'm struggling to get this done, so any help is much appreciated!

Have you read the case? What do you think?

The only conclusion I'm drawing is that Mayo CoCo should have let them go ahead since it was an ongoing operation for so long, and they ultimately knew that Glencar intended to mine, considering they are a mining company, and the duty of care owed was that Glencar was going to loose their investment due to Mayo not letting them dig anymore? Like I said, I am not a law student, this is very overwhelming so I don't even know if I'm understanding it correctly!
