I'm like most people here. I could not stand up and say MJ is not a paedophile. 100 percent No.

Do i believe this one sided documentary. 100 per cent no.

Was shocked to see the Robson Charity misson statement change overnight to suit their narrative as if people could not take screenshots at a point in time.

The old saying applies " a liar needs a good memory".

These two individals and their families do not come across as credible. You cant trust a liar.

He was asked in an interview did he see anything wrong with a 45 year old man sharing a bed with a 13 year old boy. He said no. If he was asexual then maybe you could let it slide but he was a sexual being as evidenced by the porn found in his home, not to mention the artistic photography of nude male children.

    Nobody is asexual. A grand-Dad or Grand-Ma can share a bed with a grand-child.
I would agree it's weird though. But proves nothing.

Are we sure that Michael Jackson is even dead?

Nobody seems to have credibility in this tragic mess except Michael ( I never had plastic surgery ) jackson.
    He never told lies.

Addiction to what? Sleeping in the same bed as 7 year old boys?

It’s like I said. He has a totally unique condition called ‘Michael Jackson syndrome’. Poor guy. :(

One thing about Robson, How does he remember everything that happened when he was 7 and in great detail.

Watching the film brought back a lot of bad memories for me. I was abused as a child by a person outside of my family who is now deceased.

My experience is nothing like what those boys described but stuff still happened.

The only person I ever told was an ex girlfriend.

I suppose I have never properly dealt with it. I know it was not my fault and I've nothing to be ashamed about.

It's very hard not to be able to respond to comments on Facebook with my opinion and experience as all my friends could read. I've even considered sending them a private message. But they could easily post a screenshot.

I've not read one comment on Facebook from an abuse victim. It's a very private matter which many victims would not want made public.

The hardest part for me watching the film was when the guy eventually admitted it to his brother. The manner in which he became so emotional tells me that what these guys say is true.

Describing it to a stranger and a loved one is emotionally very different.

Ive had the same experience in our family (Artane) but for the same reasons I find the responses scripted.

My point in posting is to wish you well.

He was sexually abused! It's a pretty big deal.

I remember some messed up things that happened to me at an even younger age. Didn't understand or come to terms with it until I was well into adulthood.

I really really wish all you defenders would try to understand the impact of child sex abuse on victims in adulthood, before attacking these men and their credibility. And also listen to the experts on paedophilia. It's clear MJ was a textbook example, and he got away with it due to his wealth, fame and the persona he created. For the victims, having the full realisation of what they went through hit them in adulthood is totally normal. This stuff takes years to process.

It's actually quite upsetting to see so many people refusing to believe the obvious truth, just because they liked his songs. No wonder victims are afraid to speak out, for fear they won't be believed.

The two men are very very brave.

but his whole shtick was that his association with kids was ok because he was innocent and childlike due to not having a childhood of his own.

So sorry you experienced that and I hope you're doing ok. It is an extremely difficult thing to think about, let alone talk about (which is why so many people try to bury it). Counselling might help if you feel up to it. Look after yourself.

Check out the heartbreaking case of Bill Zeller (nothing to do with MJ), who committed suicide because he could not cope with being sexually abused as a child. :(

Exactly. The more lies you tell, the better your memory needs to be. Their story, that is the 2 accusers plus their family members is full of more holes than Swiss cheese.

@ Sligeach, the stuff you posted on page 6 or whatever it was, had more body to it than all the waffle in the documentary.

Nothing in the Doc carried any weight.

But people will always reach their own conclusions. If it was their Son they'd look for the concrete proof.
But this isn't their own Son, so they'll do the trial by doc stuff.

The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of 40 thousand years
And grisly ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to squeeze your boobs
And though you fight to stay alive
    Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
    The evil of the thriller!
    AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

You can't ask for more than that. Let everyone make their own minds up.

Thats how it should be. You have RTE saying they'll never play his music again and Ray D'Arcy deciding it. That's a laugh.

RTE and the likes should remember where their funds come from.
He's not guilty of anything as far as we know.

The Oprah interview is an interesting watch as well. I don't know how anyone can sit through that and claim Safechuck is faking it. He's so obviously traumatised.

Yes I found him utterly convincing. The fact that there is all these people out defending MJ so aggressively is actually a bit frightening, would make you worry about your own kids that people are willing to attack someone who claims sexual abuse like this.

    Oprah has that affect.

Jesus is this what we're basing guilt on?

I think they're liars. I'd love to see some evidence but there isn't any.

Ok put them 2 aside. Why did MJ pay out 22mllion in 1993, surely if you or I in that situation were innocent we would fight to the end to clear our name?

So what about all the factual information in the public domain already? That Jackson shared his bed with a string of young boys aged 7-14. That his bedroom was alarmed. That police found books with images of paedophilia in his room. That he was obsessed with children and constantly talked about how much he loved them. What is your credible explanation for such behaviour in a grown man? I'm all ears.

Yeah I know. But apparently his insurance co and advisors weighed it up and they stood to lose a fortune.
So he was told to sit back and what happened happened.

It's hardly a stretch. This is a troubled fella

    No?

    No?

I dont know anything about what his advisers said or didnt say but by paying out like this was basically an admission of guilt and if he was totally innocent a crazy thing to do

I wonder about the motivations of the cleaning lady that was on 60 minutes Australia, and the accusers, they don't seem very credible..

    No?

I hope you're not this gullable in real life.

Even if it would have cost more to defend in legal fees (which I doubt), surely when you're as wealthy and famous as Michael Jackson, clearing your name is worth the money?

He paid up because it became apparent that Jordan Chandler could accurately describe marks on Jackson's penis. The pay off was to avoid getting banged up. Of course he spun it and came up with flimsy excuses as to why he settled, which his gullable fans believed.
