Can anyone tell me if this is accurate or am i doing something wrong.

So standard D5 22k miles automatic -35k sterling and 13k VRT

    Higher spec T8 hybrid 42k - 6.4k VRT

Surely anyone importing would put the VRT into a higher spec car?

OH, to add i’m looking at buying one ;)

I'd say your figures are correct, hybrids are encouraged with lower vrt as emissions are lower..

I got surprised the same way OP however I was looking at the X5 40e - the VRT was much, much lower than on the non hybrid models. What I would point out apart from the VRT pricing is that the warranty with Volvo might be a bit troublesome - as from what I was told you’ll have to pay for any repairs and then Volvo will refund the cost. How it works in real life situation I’m not sure.

Hi folks, I’m looking at going across to the I’m to buy a Lexus hybrid and seen something about a hybrid refund/rebate... I’m just wondering if that rebate is included in the calculation of the vrt due in the ros online calculator or is it the figure quoted on vrt calculator and then your minus the 1500 rebate figure?

As already posted above, it's included in the VRT figure.
