Looks like there may be another missing person in Galway, searches done today by Galway City RNLI Lifeboat & Irish Coast Guard Helicopter RESCUE115, Hard to not notice the S92 slow & low over the City today, hopefully this is not another person missing.…

Gardai say the coastguard was deployed this afternoon as a precautionary measure only, after a pair of shoes were discovered at Nimmo’s Pier.

It’s understood a member of the public raised the alarm.

Gardai say nobody was seen entering the water.

Seems quite thin, hopefully it's nothing.
