Trading up and decided on a 2016 1.6 Dsl Insignia (IR opel). There are quite a lot of them available with low milage for 14k-15k . Many of them are with independent dealers.
How do these guys come by these cars.

Generaly the only thing I believe from a car salesman is his name.... so, 'the car comes with remainder of manufacturers warranty'... how do I verify that?
    i.e for ROI originating car.

They have cronic depreciation from new. Bolands in clondalkin had 171 top spec for 18,950 was 40k new. They had it up last week on Facebook.

If new insignia suffers the same, then picking up one for low would be a great deal.

They have to sell them new first though.

Don't these 1.6 whisper diesel engines have a few timing chain issues that are beginning to rear their head?

    I'd tread carefully op

Yeah.Saw that thread. The chain is in the middle of the engine. The 2.0 cdti also has it's share of problems.Might be best to consider something else.
