Palace? Stream is a bit behind :P

I hear drink is crazy expensive over there - how much is a pint?

Think it’s a tener for a pint in this bar but that’s actually cheap. It was actually free in many bars yesterday because they were celebrating 30 years of alcohol in Iceland!

I was in a supermarket yesterday. Ask some guy where the sour cream is and he’s English. He says “are you from Ireland?”, I confirm his suspicions and he says “don’t you know that many bars are offering beer for 1 kroner (less then a cent) today?” In a what the f*ck are you doing buying sour cream Kind of way!!

I got the impression that guys thinks Irish people are inherently raging alcoholics :pac:

Didn't get to see the game, in Barcelona with sh it wifi. But sounded like a cracker. I dont get people saying he should have let Lukaku take it..hes the designated taker for a reason.

The game is virtually over, there’s like 1 minute left, you’ve been anonymous the whole game, you have a peno that isn’t going to effect the outcome of the game, your mate who has scored 2 is a confidence player who could use the boost of a hat trick, what do you do?

I’d give him the ball and take the bollocking off the manager if he didn’t like it.

Lukaku is probably our 4th or 5th choice penalty taker. If he wants to take more penalties then I'm all for it but that shouldn't be limited to when he's on a hat trick. I'd say he barely asked Pogba as he rarely shows any desire to take them normally. I wasn't actually paying attention cause I knew it was going to be Pogba taking it.

Oh, where did you end up going in Iceland and for how long? You got that organised fairly quickly.

    Liked Ole's interview there.

He mentioned playing into Stretford End in the 2nd half and how the fans in that end will eventually suck the ball into the net for you! :)

Totally agree with you that did no room for sentiment when a goal up and lukaku has a terrible penalty record.

Some more results go our way and we could be in an excellent position next week.

We need to keep our game together and extend this run of ours... certainly.

It'll be interesting to see if Southampton can put in a similar performance against Spurs next weekend. And hopefully Wolves can keep up their form against the top teams.

I'd be happy to get through our next 3 league games with 6 points against Watford and Wolves and avoiding defeat against Arsenal.

This is such dribble. Pogba is the teams designated penalty taker. The game was not put to bed. It was absolutely correct for Pogba to take the pen. If we were already 2 up then yes fair enough.

Wasn’t even a bad pen. Just a bit unlucky.

Thought united looked a little leggy today. Southampton were well set up to cause us problems but they are very pourous at the back. Other than the two dodgy penalty moments thought Smalling was excellent.

If Pogba had given the penalty to Lukaku and he'd missed it Pogba would get criticised too. There was only one goal in it so he did the right thing. And fair play to Lukaku who didn't seem to think he had the right to take it either simply because he was on a a hat-trick.

Pogba's weird run up means he'll get criticised more when he misses but he has a good record in general so that's all that matters. Of course it doesn't help that he had one of his poorer games under Ole.

Ole is really taking the decision out of the boards hands now, if this carries on they can't not give him the job.

Watford game is a nailed on win. I'm going over and I've never seen them drop points in about 15 visits.

    On Sanchez:

“We don't know yet,” said Ole. “He got a knock on his knee. It might be his ligaments. We'll do the scan tomorrow.

”Hopefully, it won't be too bad but we won't know until we've done the scans. Of course, we'll have to wait until then.“

It's great that this is the level of disagreement we are at on here at the moment.
    A serious turn around.
