Pogba is actually so in acurate from the peno spot I can't think of anyone who misses as often as he does and remains the number one taker

Big Rom deserved his chance for the hat trick there

Keeper got very lucky with that peno save, dived the wrong way and saved it with his foot.

Thought he should of let Lukaku take it for the hattrick.

Glad we got 3 points from a game that looked like we would get none.

Unless I'm wrong here hasn't he only missed 4 (including today) in his career?

We did well to dig that result out. Not an enjoyable game to watch as a fan, Southampton spent a lot of time in our half, Pogba had a poor game capped with a bad penalty and a yellow card, Lukaku should have taken the ball off of him and got the hat trick.
Nice result, but it shows how difficult these games are in the run in, lots of teams battling to stay up, no easy games at all.

    Glazers Out!

That win feels massive considering the way the game went with all our missed chances and our rivals dropping points and the 2 Southampton goals being nigh on unstoppable. DDG actually didn't have to make a save aside from picking the ball out of his net from those two strikes.

Very disappointing game from Pogba, mctominay and Rashford were also poor enough. Young not much better.

Lukaku and Pereira really stepped up.

    Big 3 points there.

The goals during that game were madness.

Weren't great for the nerves though! Pereira with a peach.

Missed a lot of the game as on a break in Iceland. Got into a sports bar when it was 2-1 and just as I ordered a drink palace equalize! I was tempted to cancel order, glad I didn’t...

If this team can harness this kind of spirit next season they could actually win some stuff with a couple of additions.

Really wished Lukaku got the hatrick but 3 points is the most important thing !! Beat Arsenal next weekend and we’re in a great place for top 4

3 points behind Tottenham now! That draw earlier worked out well enough for United!

Nice to see the table looking positive for us, we've been in spectacular form since Jose left and haven't really seen much change in the table, hopefully we continue our rich form and spurs continue imploding.

    Glazers Out!

    Why so?

Isn't Pogba the team's designated penalty taker?
In which case he is absolutely correct to take it

We made it hard on ourselves today, but in the end got the deserved 3 points.

I thought it was a great save. If dave made it it'd be he did great covered as much of the goal as possible. The keeper threw the leg up to maximise his area and it worked

I thought Utd dominated that, how often do you concede twice from 30 yards out?

looked like pogba was doing a herrera role in playing a bit deeper and giving more cover to mc tominay. It's not the role he does best but at least he's playing for the team with herrera and matic out

Didn't get to see the game, in Barcelona with sh it wifi. But sounded like a cracker. I dont get people saying he should have let Lukaku take it..hes the designated taker for a reason.

Fair play to Ole. If he got some grief last week for bringing Lingard on he should get some props for today.

Am I right in thinking we were playing with 3 at the back for the fifteen minutes after Sanchez came on with young playing alongside Lindelof and Smalling? Made a massive difference.

Delighted we got through these 2 games where Pogba has had to play deeper. Not too bothered with Pogba taking the penalty and it wasn't the worst.

Well according to stat websites it's now 4 in total missed for his career. And they seem to be counting rebounds as missed as the Everton one shows.

Palace? Stream is a bit behind :P

I hear drink is crazy expensive over there - how much is a pint?

    I'm partial to your abracadabra,

I'm raptured by the joy of it all.

Exactly. He wasnt involved as much as we'd like and wasnt great but was playing deeper with Pereira further up.

When Fred came on for Pereira he switched with Pogba and slotted back there.

Is there anyone left who doesn't think Solskjaer is getting the job?

The difference in attitude, style, determination and all round atmosphere is staggering.

And its gone far beyond the end of the "Mourinho effect", where the general feeling was that the dog in the street would have got more from the players than Jose. He's won at Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs and drew (probably should have beaten) Liverpool despite being crippled with injuries both before and during the game.

    16 games, 13 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss.

Yeah the PSG game was a disappointment but he has surely done more than enough to secure the job?

Or does he need 4th place and/or the FA Cup to seal the deal?
