Partitioning

right i want to make a partition so that i can keep my important files on the partition while i do a fresh install of XP. i heard that powerquest's partition magic was the best for this so i downloaded it and it won't partition unless i buy the program :mad: is there any FREE programs that will do this for me? also replies…

ive only ever used partition magic... never heard of any other program that does this... it was the first of its kind i think..

you're prob better off just buying partition magic... ha ha ha:D

you can probably pick up a copy of PC format with partition commander 6 on the coverdisc.
