Boru Stoves

Some years ago I purchased a Boru16KW stove. It is only used as prescribed and only used periodically. Recently I noticed a crack in the body of the stove, just above the top of the door. Has anyone had a similar experience? and can this (cast iron) be welded or repaired in any way?
