    Hi all,

I planted 2 azalea plants 6 weeks ago and one has a few leaves turning yellow. In hindsight, I should have added some Ericaceous compost...

what should I do now? replant them with Ericaceous compost? give them azalea food? Or just wait and see?

    Thanks

It could well be just a reaction to the stress of recent planting, so I wouldn't panic yet. If in late spring it is still showing signs of stress, you could add peat moss or an iron fertiliser.

If you have limey soil they will never really thrive. Best is to keep them in a pot and add ericacious soil or sequestrine of iron.
If your soil is neutral or acid it is probably a case of shock at being replanted. Wait and see in this case.
