Anti-D injection after birth

Hi,

My wife had a baby almost 10 weeks ago and has lost some feeling in her right thigh where the Anti-D injection was administered the day after birth.

We mentioned this to our GP and said the feeling will usually return after about 4 weeks but it has remained the same. We tried some massages to get the circulation going etc. which has made no difference.

It seems that whoever administered the injection hit a nerve and we want to get it sorted. The maternity hospital said we should get it tested in a regular hospital to prove that it was caused by the Anti-D injection.

Has anyone experienced something similar to this ? Has the feeling eventually come back ? Should we get some legal advice if a nerve test can prove it was caused by the injection ?
