Storage advice

Hello everyone.
Looking for advice. Currently I have 3 large external harddrives where I backup all my photos and videos.
Ideally I would like to have one drive made by multiple drives so I could continue to continue to add more size and continue to save all my content to it.

What do you guys suggest? Or should I just continue in buying more external harddrives?

freenas will allow you to present the disks as one large volume and dynamically extend

Be very wary of merging drives together , all your eggs in one basket.

Other options include using symbolic links to map a drive to a folder.

If there is a risk of losing all my data I rather keep it as it is and keep buying more harddrives

Purchase a NAS, Synology or Qnap
Remember Drives fail.
You can have redundancy with the above setup, RAID1, SHR
