Yes I had to do it last year in my old school for the Science labs. Like most others I was not happy signing off on a lot of stuff I had no control over. However my union advised to document every known problem and write on the sheet if any particular parameter was outside my control and said in the even of a accident it would be worse to have not engaged in the review and done nothing rather than engage and sign with stated concerns.
