Disposal of fiberglass insulation

    Hey,
Im going to upgrade the insulation in my attic in the next few weeks and was wondering if I need to dispose of the fiberglass insulation in any particular way? Or is it something I could just put in the general waste.

I saw that it is handled as hazardous waste in the UK but can't find anything about Ireland.

I would just put the new insulation on top but I don't have space for that

    Thanks

Skip, mixed C&D (construction and demolition) waste.

You'd be a long time disposing it through wheelie bin collections unless your attic is tiny.

Bag it and take it to the dump.

Was thinking bagging and bringing it and bringing it to the dump alright.
It's only a 25 sqm attic and around 50mm thick so not a huge amount of it
