Doubt the Gardaí are raiding a halting site because they think there are heroin addicts there.....

They seemed to have started flinging acid at each other now. Probably dont pay for the acid either.

They are savages, the whole town will be in fear, maybe the Church authorities should refuse to allow the funeral to go ahead. They have the ceremony of their halting site and if they cause damage there let them pay for it themselves. Dont send the Gardai in to protect them, just set up cordons around the halting site and let them at it.

More of the whole world is agin me.

Maybe if members of this community stopped shoplifting security guards might stop phoning each other when the travellers arrive in town.

Maybe if they didnt drink to excess and then behave like wild animals hotel and bars might welcome their money.
That article is pitiful. All about how travellers don't get an education because of someone else's fault - when education is not valued throughout the traveller community.

They don't raid the users that would be a waste of time. They raid the dealers, people profiteering off other peoples misery.

Everything that's wrong with politics in this country.

Charlie Haughey would be proud wha?

Actually, hypothetical scenario because I'm slightly curious; what do you and the followers of the cult of Casey think would have happend if Casey was elected President and what do you think he could have done about the traveler issue?

Eventually some politician will have to do something about the traveller menace, people will only put up with the current situation for so long, it might take another fifty years but it will happen

I'm not aware of of a huge heroin epidemic locally and no mention of a raid in the papers or local courts tbf

No they certainly don’t, but they do choose to traffick it and deal, and they have the town plagued with it. There was thousands spent on the walkway down the canal line and people are terrified to walk it because it’s over run with addicts down there, thanks to the wares the travellers are flooding the town with.

You’re not aware of a heroin epidemic in the town? You know when your neighbours dog takes a sh1t and you can’t see what’s going on on your own streets??

Sorry if I missed the earlier detail but which town is this, are you at liberty to say?

"Margaret Cash appears in court over stealing €300 worth of clothes from Pennys" the thread that just keeps on giving. Over 250 pages of ranting in an echo chamber. Perhaps it is time to move on?

I think it is well past time that M Cash's name should be removed from the title of this thread. It is unfair to use her name as a lightening rod for every problem attached to the traveler community.

Even the €300 piece is a joke. The real criminals who destroyed the country rode off into the sunset with pensions and terms that we could only dream of.

If you need a thread to keep harping on about travelers by all means have it.

Hahaha sure whats one attack, its only a woman, out walking in broad day light. Silly her. Do you want the links to the junkies breaking into tropicana? Or perhaps the house that was fire bombed in a local housing estate or perhaps the shooting on the Clara road last year, all heroin problems, or the fact a local councilor brought up the fact there’s a lane in the town referred to as heroin lane? I have no interest in wasting my time getting links for you because youll defend the indefensible.

No the real criminal is someone going into a business and stealing things that don’t belong to them.

Nothing, as he doesn't have the power to.

However, the fact that he would have been elected purely off those comments as a 'protest' vote, if you will, woukd have every wannabe TD, senator and councillor round the country taking a step back and going 'wait a minute.....'. You would have the traveller problem front and centre in local and national elections, and plenty of people rowing in behind casey when they see the support he got.

I'm not supporting shoplifting just pointing out that her crimes are minor compared to others.

Whataboutery, besides the kind of guys who were responsible for bank failures in all liklihood were both creative and productive for much of their lives, travellers contribute nothing bar huge law enforcement bills

Hack it anyway you like but she doesn't deserve the opprobrium being dished out on this thread.

It's just the fact that she was all over the media claiming that the system has let her down and she is not like the stereotypical traveller.

Then it turns out she is a thief with a long criminal record(yes traffic offences count too)
Costs the state >€50k a year
    Has been turning down houses
Continues to have more children she can't afford

She's the public face of what is a problematic area of society and she was the one that decided to make herself public when she posted the staged photos in the Garda station.

I'm well aware of M Cash's failings but nothing justifies the misogyny and downright cruelty directed at her in this thread.

So those guys ok according to you..only brought down a country.
This petty criminal is ripped apart on this sxxt forum for 9 months , and today we heard about whole families with small children being burnt to death and no one in DLRCC accountable. And this crowd here just carry on about Margaret Cash.

    Cruelty......

    Your having a giraffe.....

Ask her husband the same thing about his victims.

Ask Cash about those she stole from.
