Thinking of switching to Eir

Hi, this is not really for Eir and more for their customers.

Currently with Vodafone, spending €41 a month for 2000 minutes/texts/18gb data addon and spotify.

Thinking of moving to Eir and the eir Mobile Connect 30 days, €15 a month for 6 months with Unlimited calls/texts and 25gb of data.

I suppose my question is, from a service point of view..... am I mad to think of moving to eir Mobile?
I hear nothing but bad things about the support and billing etc from eir Broadband users I know.

How are their speeds etc compared to Vodafone?

    Thanks!

Don't pal - their phone coverage is appalling, it's like being back on the Ethernet in late 1998.

Counting the days to leave them.

Avoid if at all possible, I'm months trying to have them connect broadband, engineer eventually came out and reported back that the line was not installed by builder from the eir box to the house, despite the fact that I installed the line myself and am 100% confident the line is correct and present, I happened to be at home myself on the day and was watching the engineer, he never lifted the cover of the box therefore had no way of knowing if the line was present or not, a complete joke of a company

Avoid for broadband but I have them for mobile and can't complain.

If you get one of their rolling plans (i'm on one) you can leave quickly if it doesn't work out?
