Also, they announced it was the Zone of the Enders HD Collection for the PS3 this month but they've only made the first one free.

I've asked this on twitter. They say they are aware of the issue and are looking into it.

Edit: It has now been changed to ZoE HD Collection

Sony have a deal on a 12 month sub with PUBG until the 13th, €69.99 for both.

Raging, renewed two days ago. Was happy enough to let PUBG pass me by as i have it on PC but i would have taken the punt for €10.

Not a bad deal imo of ye have to pay the €59.99 anyway

Purchase the PS3 version first, then once it’s purchased the PS4 should show up as free

    Thanks Eoin!

I thought it would show up in the download list, but I searched the store for the game and the PS4 version was free :)

Oh man, I'm so happy to get Amplitude! I absolutely adored this, and Frequency, back in the day. Some of the best music based games I've ever played! Downloading now!!

Happened to me 2 days before Christmas, managed to get a refund straight to my bank in a few days.

So, finished Amplitude on Intermediate last night, completely different to how I remembered it and different songs. I was looking forward to replaying Freezepop - Super Sprøde! Had a quick go of one of the bonus songs on Hard and Expert. Just as hard as I remember!

Went on to the PS Store on ps4 the other night to add the monthly games to my library - I could only add the ps4 games and couldn't see any others.

Am I right in thinking that other months I could add all the games (ps4, ps3 and vita) to my library from the ps4? Or did I imagine that?

Nope. Only PS4 games can be added from the PS4.

You can add them all from the online store

Is there any good reason as to why the games aren't automatically added? Why make everyone go through that rigmarole every month?

Sony probably pay a fee to the publishers per person who added the game to their library.

It's a bit silly. I have a few mates who got PS4 around Christmas for the first time and they had no idea about the plus games and hadn't a notion of how to get them.

    Xbox is the same.

Plus you need a payment option on the account to add the 360 games.
So every 2 weeks I add PayPal, add my game and delete PayPal.

Sony email every month when the new games are available to download.

People would give out if Sony put the games in your account automatically. Remember when it happened on ITunes:

You only need a payment option on the account if you add 360 games from the webstore or the One, it is not necessary on a 360 where MS credit is still an allowed purchase method for 360 games.

That was an intrusive download of a ****e album though. If the games were added to your library and then gave you the option to download or not, it would be absolutely fine. I wouldn't fancy having my ps4 full because it downloaded Steep overnight. Adding the games automatically wouldn't be an issue though.

But then over the course of a year, it could add over 30 games to your library automatically, making it harder to sift through your library and find the game you want (eg. if you want to play something you haven't played in ages, or re-download a game you previously deleted).

Obviously not serious issues either way, but you'd have people complaining about it and it's unnecessary. It could also cause issues if one of the games being added is one you already own, which could cause a conflict when it tries to automatically add it to your Library again.

I wouldn't have thought there was any problem with having to add the games you want manually. I know many of the games on PS+ are ones I don't want, and I don't want them appearing in my Library either.

I know it's no biggie but was thinking of getting a cheap ps3 and I haven't added any of the ps3 Plus titles to my library. So having them auto added would have been pretty nice.

Aren't they now shown separately in a 'Plus' section of the library though?

I know it's no biggie but was thinking of getting a cheap ps3 and I haven't added any of the ps3 Plus titles to my library. So having them auto added would have been pretty nice.

It'd also lose them money though. Ultimately, the games are supposed to be a "It's available for free for this month, so if you want it, get it now" kind of deal. If the games were auto-added, considering most users do have PS+ the games would then almost never sell anything again. There'd be little incentive for companies to put their games on PS+ for a month. I'm thinking in particular of Rocket League as an example. Many got it for free when it was on PS+, and that was when the game really took off in popularity. No doubt many people then paid for the game in the months following. But had it simply been auto-added, they would have lost out on those sales that occurred after the PS+ month was over. I know they've made a sh*t-tonne out of cosmetic DLC etc since, but still, lost sales are lost sales.

Same with your own scenario of getting a PS3. Since the games weren't auto-added, you likely won't pay money for the majority of games that were given as part of PS+ (and some huge AAA games were given on PS+ during the PS3 era). But even if you bought 2 games for cheap, that's more money than they would have gotten had the games been auto-added for people to then get whenever they wanted.

Possibly, but isn't the first screen when you enter the Library just set to "All". I don't have a huge amount of games so can usually scroll to what I want easily enough from there, but if you auto-add 30 or so PS+ games within a year you're forcing people into extra steps or harder searches to find what you're looking for.

Plus, having them auto-added means they won't be able to give them again in a future month...

When have they done that before?
