Appealing a parking fine.

    Hi. This is not the most exciting topic in the world but I could really do with some advice, thanks. Does the traffic warden who wrote the original fine have to be present in court on the day of the summons, and if not is that grounds for an appeal. I really can't afford to lose again but my anxiety prevented me from speaking out on the day for fear of reprisal.

    You obviously havent learned from the experience and want to appeal and lose again.

    I'd say get a lawyer but probably far too late now.

    Thank you. I think I'm just annoyed with myself for thinking I could represent myself without seizing up. I wouldn't represent myself at an appeal, nor ever again if such a need arises. Thanks again for your input.
