I thought Bad Blood was dreadful, the acting was actually shocking at times.

I only managed to get to 2nd episode.

The acting got better, the main protagonist was gripping and plot line created plenty of tension, had it's funny moments too

A clever bookstore manager relies on his savvy Internet know-how to make the woman of his dreams fall in love with him.

Been looking forward to this one for a while, gets good ratings. Half way through the first episode and it looks promising.

Powered through this fairly quickly - really enjoyed it, definitely worth a watch imo.

If it’s a docoseries, is it based on true crime then?

As a standalone black mirror episode I really didn't like Bandersnatch. I just found it a bit meh.

It was an virus attacking nervous system of humans making them kill themselves !!

I see Bird Box has now had 45 million views, a record for Netflix.

Having thought more about it, I think it's not good. Far too many preposterous leaps of faith to be considered good.

Viruses don't manifest themselves into black formations that talk to and chase people though. There was a supernatural element that wasn't really explained apart from the demon stories early on

Im the same didnt like it either and im a huge black mirror fan ,it was a good idea to try something different but i would of preferred a few episodes instead of this event.

I also started "You" last night and its very good so far.

Really liked the new Black Mirror Bandersnarch interactive episode, very clever stuff and well made. Had to watch it on my phone though as TV was not compatible.

The biggest problem with Bandersnatch is that video games have been doing the
    'meta' narratives about choice
for quite some time now, and several have done it a whole lot better than the Black Mirror episode manages. It also falls victim to the problem most branching narratives encounter - it's incredibly difficult to tell a strong, satisfying story when it has to go multiple directions. I liked the 'proper' ending I got, but felt like it wasn't fully earned and a lot of other stuff just was unresolved.

Still, some of the gag endings in particular are good fun. Also works well on a technical level - aside from IMO the filmmakers' misjudging the amount of time they give you to make a choice (should probably have been about half as long) it flows well and relatively seamlessly all things considered.

Bandersnatch is exhausting. I get a headache just thinking about it. The implementation of the loopbacks is seriously flawed. It encourages you keep going to get all the endings when there is really only one true ending that brings everything full circle and "playing" beyond that point destroys the narrative cohesion of the whole story. I got that ending early on and wish I had stopped then.

    Series:
    Sci fi
    Altered Carbon is good.
Lost in space... ok to good.
    drama series
    Bodyguard series was great.
    Pine Gap was decent.

Documentary series ""dirty money" was really interesting

Tidelanders (fantasy genre?) was ok, for first few episodes, had to watch it with a towel over my lap. Bit boring after first couple of titilations.
Watched "Seven" movie last night, was nice to rewatch after a long absence
    Bird Box movie is awful

There is no implementation of interactive screenplay which could embellish a movie for me. I don't get it, I don't want to continually reach across the laptop to keep the story going, I don't care which cereal the actor chooses. I don't care how clever the idea of free will is wrapped within the story to sublimate my choices. Just entertain me and tell the story, I'm not the writer and don't need the workload in my own time - thanks very much..

This "choose your own adventure" format smells awfully like Black Mirror has finally jumped the shark a little. Certainly a gimmick at best, with viral headlines the probable preferred outcome

ALL the endings? I just kept choosing til the credits played on their own accord. I assume that was the intended outcome. It just annoyed me really after the first few choices. And now I have to rewatch the start to see what difference the cereal choice would have made.
