MF 5455 dyna 4

    Happy new year.

    Im half looking at one of these machines, its 2008 with about 4600hrs with loader tyres are about 70% all round,im not fimilar with dyna 4 transmission,what sort of set up is it?,also i see it has a T bar gear change...also electric lift..am i asking for trouble with all these electrics..in fairness its very clean..anyone with something similar and if so how is it..

    The dyna 4 is pretty bulletproof at this stage, it's been around a while. I wouldn't be worried about the electronic lift at all if anything I'd insist it was on a machine nowadays. Very handy once the controls are also on the mudguard to save you climbing into the cab

    2 of my friends have 5460 Massey’s. One is 2010. He put up 6k hours on it and traded it last year for a new Massey. No trouble with it. battery went on fire out of the blue one day. Other one is 04. Very tough men on gear, 15k hours on it. 2 crank shafts, 1 engine block and a new transmission. Other than that it’s going well.
