As somebody who works in the Business Campus just off the motorway Maynooth J7 is an absolute disaster.

On the town side there isn't a roundabout at all meaning the eastbound exit from the M4 and both right turns off the overpass have to cross traffic. It causes huge congestion in the morning and dangerous driving conditions as cars and truck try to edge across the road.
On the far side the roundabout is way too small for the volume of traffic and the fact the business campus and the hardware centre on the other side are both on the roundabout makes for awful traffic problems in the evening and huge queues from the Straffan side in the mornings.
The whole exit needs to be completely scrapped and redesigned. What's annoying is that there probably is the space to do the redesign (especially on the town side) but just no will to do it.
