Am I the only one watching ‘Chill with Bob Ross?’

Anyone watching the Australian series Tidelands.

I've watched two episodes and not sure what to make of it.

Family business selling drugs is a good story but then all the scifi aspects just doesn't do it for me.

Just finished Bad Blood, definitely right up my street Italian mobsters. Could possibly have been better as a 4 part series than 6. Good cast, acting and decent plot, 8/10 for me.

Closed Circuit movie there with Eric Bana who's always great but not all that exciting 6/10

Just started Pine Gap here and has actually held my attention.

The TV series, not the film.

Started brooklyn nine nine, halfway through season 3. I find it so much better and enjoyable than the odd few episodes I've seen on tv

I went back to Brooklyn 99 after giving up on the first season; Andy Samberg got on my wick and the whole Boyle-fancies-Rosa gags got tired, real fast. Definitely a show that picks itself up after a dry run.

I LOVE Brooklyn nine nine! It is definitely a grower of a show (a bit like parks and rec)

Captain Holt aka VELVET THUNDER (and cheddar) for the win!

I would recommend The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, even if you do not like Westerns

    Halfway through Innocent Man. Brilliant.

There are so many of these type of documentary shows now, its madness how bad law enforcement/justice systems can be. Obviously only a portion get to be documented in tv format.

I could not wait for it to end. Highly overrated pretentious waffle imo. An ego trip for the otherwise excellent Coen brothers and a vanity project for some "A" listers.

If it wasn't a Coen movie,it would have spent it's life in limbo as a notion in a notebook. It will certainly have it's fanboys but I ain't one.

I’m about halfway through season one, it’s only ok at the minute but there’s definitely some very enjoyable parts.

This seems to be the norm now if you don’t like something, call it pretentious and anyone who likes it a fanboy. It’s a good film that I could easily go back and watch certain stories again, especially the Tom Waits one which is simply brilliant.

Watched Cocaine Coast and The Mechanism over the last few weeks.

The first is decent, entertaining, not on the level of Narcos or anything like that, but for what it is its pretty cool, with some great spanish gangster characters.

The Mechanism is very good although it feels like there should be some more episodes. The problem is its about such recent corruption in Brazil they probably couldn't go much further and are waiting for new material to make more episodes! Its very skillfully produced, well acted and intriguing.

Both based on true events which gives them extra spice.

I agree. The flip side occurs too, where if you don't like something, you must have an agenda or something. As time goes on, I have ever more respect for the people who can articulate what they like and dislike about something.

Your opinion is fine, using the word pretentious is just lazy.

Has anyone here seen The Villainess? It's a Korean action movie. It can be a bit hard to follow in a couple of places (lots of use of flashback), but the action scenes - especially the first person scenes bookending the film - are really impressive.
