Computer still installing update after 3 days

    Windows 10 laptop. I installed an update; reboot and still installing after three days? A little white dotted circle keeps turning and turning? Any ideas what is happening or what to do?

    Hold the power button in on the machine for 20 to 30 seconds until the power gets killed on the machine. Then power back on the device
