Martin Atkinson named referee for the United game.

Everton had scored two injury-time goals to make the score 3–3 against Manchester United, but Atkinson then blew his final whistle while Everton were midway through an attack with a chance of a winner

This is all I could find on him regarding a Liverpool / Manchester issue. It was 8 years ago but it's too important a match to take any chances. We need to lodge a protest.

Atkinson sent Gerrard off for the stamp on Herrera

In the warm up before that game the cameras were at the side of the pitch for pre game build up and he let the ball go through his legs from a shot.

No that was the Chester City game

Everyone on here would have a valid complaint about everything and they'd be within their right to complain.
    Prefer complan myself

I'm starting to think that perhaps your compliant with the complaint plan.

Are you compliant with the complaint plan, Mr. Complan?

    Trick question!

On the subject of refs, we have a 100% record with this lad tonight. Played 4, lost 4. I don't think there was anything controversial in those matches though, so it's ok.

no harm in recognising the blue side when it's warranted.

    Alisson

TAA - Lovren (if fit) - VVD - Robertson

    Milner - Henderson - Gini

    Salah - Firmino - Mane

Lovren gets the nod if fit, Klopp will want some minutes in him as soon as possible and rates him higher than Matip. He goes with last years midfield, idea to keep it tight but and also gives him the options of Keita and Shaqiri from the bench if goals are needed. Those goals may not be needed as the front three can blow a team away in a half of football when it clicks for them.

I really really don't want Milner, Hendo, Gini as the midfield three. Keita was subbed at 65' on the weekend so I think he might start.

Who do you drop? Milner I think,

Milner for Keita yh, though I'd also drop Hendo for Fab probably.

They were poor the last time played together (PSG) and I wouldn't play them myself but I think that could be how Klopp goes. Would be Keita's third start in a row after coming back from injury so think him starting is unlikely. Henderson will definitely be in as he been banned and rotated the last few weeks and I think Gini is nailed on too, it would also be Milner's third start in a row but his fitness over Keita may get him the nod.

They were excellent in the PSG home game though on the flip side, thought we bossed them that day albeit with no Veratti

Edit: I'd start Keita ahead of Milner myself though for the record

Tensions are always raised the week of the Liverpool Utd game. It's the ultimate battle of good vs evil.

They get a decent win the weekend (like we did except we didn't concede) and they are acting the billybigballs...

    Mind the gap....

    Irish vs Irish
    Superthread vs Superthread
Civil War except more yellow and red cards and we have Rebel instead of Vision.

Had a look myself there in the match thread.

Jaysus that is embarrassing for them if that's what they have fallen to as a fanbase and a club. That's the kinda crap you'd expect from Everton fans to be at.

Mourinho really has done a number on them as a club and turned the fans into a mirror image of himself, bitter jealous and yesterday's men.

    Shambles so they are.

Anyways think we will get through tonight, with our defence doing the business. YNWA.

Having to watch Burnley through livescore and Twitter updates was bad enough, but not being home to watch this game is gonna have me in bits.
