Christ lads lighten the **** up.

We just scored 4 goals at OT where we've been severly lacking, Lukaku got a goal at home, had our young lb play a blinder pinging in some absolute peaches for crosses, midfield looked solid, ddg kept quite.

Quit sucking the life out of it, **** pogba, **** jose, happy the fans that turn up got to see a good display and a solid few goals go in at old trafford.

Think one of us is over there for it i read a few pages back, delighted he got to see a few goals from us for his first game

Two of our better performing players of late. Mad they aren’t letting those harsh words effect their ability to perform on the pitch... Looks like they found a way to either harness that into good or get over it so they can perform for the club. But your mate Pogba is a different little princess altogether.

i was just making the point that at different times shaw was being called fat by a certain few, and martial was lazy and a disgrace and they couldnt wait until he was sold. both are playing well now. same thing will happen pogba either at united or a different club.

Form is temporary, class is permanent

Beno is at his first game. Delighted for anybody getting a good united win on their first visit.

Mine was man city in 92. Cantona came off the bench for his first appearance. Still get goosebumps thinking about it!

Seems to come with caveats with Pogba. I don’t doubt his quality , I doubt his temperament and capacity to get over himself, knuckle down and work hard for the team. We are struggling, he’s one of our most senior players and he’s not been helping, it’s that simple.

Mine was a lot more recent, us and home versus man city, we lost 2-1, zlatan got our goal with a volley in the box. Me and the brother were right behind the goal 3 rows back.
Cabellero got some stick as he was warming up before the game:)

Bishop Blades and Trafford Bar after, now that was an expierence. Nutters :D

    Mine was 09?

Keane was just sacked from Sunderland a bit earlier and Vidic got the late winner!

Still have the match programme :)

Mine was 2010, the 3-2 win over Liverpool with a berba hattrick.

Sorry lads but I doubt anyone can beat the Real Madrid game from 2003 as their first game. A Ronaldo hat trick, a Beckham free kick, a John O’Shea nutmeg on Figo, and all viewed from a perfect mid pitch, mid lower north stand seat.

2.5 years is not temporary. You're wrong on many things , and this is just another.

I would love nothing more for you to be right, because I want the marauding, all conquering Pogba we were promised. It ain't going to happen.

This much underperformance and laziness shouldn't be tolerated, but he brings in the revenue. If he didn't, he'd be out of the club.

    20 goals 22 assists

    won a world cup

nomimated for our player of the month for 2 months already this season

What revenue is he bringing in?

If you think that Pogba is not used in every new sponsor pitch and brochure going, then you are crazy.

If you are arguing semantics that it osn't direct revenue, then please don't bother responding to me

Sad when the greatest football club on earth is signing or retaining players based on their image rights rather than football abilities init :p

We were doing so well but took us what, a page till we recycle the Pogba discussion again.....

If only Pogba's performances were just as consistent

    Boom!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,641 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

Pogba has an attitude problem too much showboating if the team was riding high that would be ok but in the current climate it's disrespectful

He won a world cup as part of an immense squad. They'd have been well able without him. He's been dire for France in their last few games too.

He's had some good games, I've noted that. But the bad ones have far outweighed the good. As a whole the team don't function as well with him in it.

He not won it, though and scarcely deserved the nomination for one of them.

You've made your mind up, as I have mine. So I'll leave it at that before you dig out a nomination from when he was 12 or something

Your talking to a brick wall there when it comes to Pogba and Bangkok. Pretty sure most posters here have gone throw the same cycle of conversation with him like you have.
Nothing wrong with it, Bangkok is himself and likes the player, just any reasoning goes out the window.
Keeps the thread getting full at least even though its a recycled garbage.

I just find it funny that after the game the talk quickly changes to pogba instead of the 11 that played.

We should be talking about the performamce of Rashford and Dalot.

Instead we get this merry go round of pogba, which will then goes to jose and the circle of man utd life in board continues

On another point altogether. Valencia is a free hit. Chance to try something adventurous, hope they do while resting some key players for Liverpool.

I'd love to see an attack of

    Chong, Mata, Lingard
    Rashford

In the Valencia game with maybe a midfield of Herrera and Pereira.

Who knows even give Greenwood some mins.

Knowing it's a nothing game though I'm fully expecting Lukaku, Fellaini, Matic, McTominay, Young etc all to play

Liverpool can beat Napoli, and if they're in the mood they d like nothing more than to beat United and retain top spot. Ideally United win, City draw and everyone else drops points.

Liverpool could be a funny game. I’m not sure if Napoli result will change anything but they will play us after prob losing top spot to city and with a little
Bit more pressure on them. I know it’s not the same pressure but it’s all added presssure that levels out form and quality.

Makes me think of when united played some games around the Munich air disaster anniversary’s. At times our team under performed with that bit more pressure and expectation , no matter who the opponent.

If Jose can keep up the positivity in the squad , as bad as we have been this season, he could easily Diego forlan Liverpool. Don’t think any of us expect much so it sort of feels like a free hit.

Imagine how angry Bangkok and Mitch will be if we win without Pogba starting! Could be Perma bans like confetti :pac:

I'd write off the next two as unimportant compared to Cardiff Huddersfield Bournemouth and Newcastle which all come in the two weeks after Sunday they are 12 points which must be secured at all costs Wednesday is unimportant and Sunday given they are flying high at the moment wounded pride won't mean much if all 12 points are secured from the four post Sunday games.

Hererra has played himself into the team as is our best midfield option at the moment. Thought Matic last two games were better than he had all season, dont think its much of a coincedence that he had a willing runner in Hererra beside him
