    Matip's looking a lot firmer on his feet the last couple of games.

    CBs need time to get a rhythm as well.

    Edit: and another very nice carry out of defence the end. Getting used to having VVD and Alisson behind him must give him a lot more confidence in taking the initiative.

    Salah in posession really is only half the player he was last year, literally running straight at the opposition, his first touch looks way off too

    So will the ref feel the need to even the game up for Bournemouth in the second half? Bound to find out that Salah was offside at HT.....need to be clear if that happens....

    Rotten weather isn't helping but obviously it could hinder Bournemouth in the second half. Great Alisson header best moment in the game so far.

    That's a stat from Sky, Salah has opened the scoring in 7 games this season, twice more than any other player in the league.

    I’d say he was just unsure whether he could if it was a back pass or not, which no way would it have been called for that. He probably would have punched that away normally rather than catching it, but headed it instead

    Haven't seen a proper replay, but from memory the way his body was set it was cleaner to get his head to it if you get what I mean.....I dunno...
