Was all set to bring Aubameyang in Tuesday night before another price rise only didn't as was Mane & Mitro out > Auba & Kenedy in. Kenedy not a great replacement IMO

Great fixtures, in form (disregarding United game) but is he worth 11.2, same as Aguero, who has been consistent for years?

I'll have to take -4 to get him in which not comfortable doing, wanting to steer clear of hits this year.

I would argue not worth his price, he's gone up 0.3 the last few days , first season in PL, underlying stats are saying he's over performing (similar to Mane in first couple of game) and somewhat a rotation risk

IMO, price wise he's not the same level as the FPL god Aguero, certainly a punt, fixtures look so good & Arsenal scored 2 goals against a poor United defense with no involvement although he had good chances.

I can do the move to him with a 5.2 max midfield replacement, looking at Kenedy but not convinced Auba & Kenedy outscore Mane (if fit) & Mitro over the Christmas period

Is he a panic, template buy?

    Asking for a friend...

I have gone with Lacazette and you could do the same as oppose to having a 5.2m mid you could have a 6.8m mid

I went with Lacazette because he has had his refresh with the injury & hasn't been rushed back. In addition to this he appears to be No.1 of the two and preferred through the middle player.

After the first few games and things settled down,Lacazette started the 9/10 PL games, played full 90 bar one game. On the other hand Auba didn't start in 3 of those and was regularly withdrawn around the 65/70 minute when he did start.

Granted Auba has been in prolific form of late but in terms of goal involvements Auba is on 13 and Lacazette is on 11.

I think Lacazette will start the weekend v Huddersfield and I wouldn't be surprised to see Auba rested with perhaps an Ozil coming in

Ozil down as a doubt or has that changed?

Spurs with a huge game against Barca on Tuesday. Danger of Kane and Son getting rested I'm guessing. I'm thinking Son won't start and Harry taking off on the hour mark assuming they are winning.

    Ederson Gamer
Alonso Robertson TAA Wan AWB Stankovic
Mane Hazard B Silva Hojeberg Hudson Odoi
    PEA Jesus Success.

I think mane to Eirksun and Hojeberg to Fraser have exact funds.

I'd agree with both transfers given the team

Auba is a top quality striker imo and will continue to score. I'm not sure what the point is in comparing Agueros years of returns in the PL with a guy who is only in it a year, its not a fair comparison. In his time here, Auba has been delivering, more so than Laca. Arsenal should have less rotation than other top teams due to being able to put out second string in the Europa League.

Having said all that, I don't intend on sticking with Auba long term. I will get his good run of fixtures and some good price rises out of him and then review. May even switch to Laca at some stage. In any case, I am more than happy to have him in my team at the minute and I already have more options should I choose to get rid than when I brought him in.

Alli is sure to start this weekend, why would Son be more likely to get rested instead of Eriksen or Moura?

Edit: just checked and Eriksen and Son have had nearly identical game time for Spurs since the last int break, but Eriksen played a match and a half during it while Son didn't play.

I'm in a weird spot this week with Iwobi.
Have had him as 5th mid since GW3 and he's done ok in the few times I've needed him.

I'm uncomfortable having him on the bench with such a plum fixture though, considering he's started 7 of the last 8.

I am aware that he's not very good :pac:

Moura has been rested two of the last three games. Son has started last three. Erikson not long back from injury and needs games. Also Son is a high energy 100 mph type player. I'd be surprised if he plays three games in six days.

In relation to price, it's more that Aguero is FPL proven and priced accordingly at 11.2 (premium price) where as Auba is 11.2 on his Bundlesliga/Ligue 1 record and early PL goals tally which have been good. Plenty have joined the PL, given a high price and not lived up to it.

I take your point, I reluctantly think he will do well as I'm on the side of not bringing him in this GW, just on the side of taking 2 people (Mane & Mitro/Jiminez) out to bring Auba & someone else in that in the long run, the former 2 will perform better.

On the above post, looking at Laca now, will take a look thanks

See above re game time, Son should be in better condition to start three in six days than Eriksen. Eriksen is back a long time since injury. Trip being back to take set pieces also means Eriksen is not as important for this weekend. All speculation and very difficult to predict of course as Poch seems happy to flog the **** out of Kane.

Looking at Arnie to PEA to give Kane PEA Wilson up front. The only downside is that I will have to play Brooks most weeks.

    Best Brooks replacement for 5.6?

If you have no West Ham coverage I would suggest Snodgrass

Did something stupid and brought Martial in last night, I didn't realise he went off injured. Hopefully he'll be alright for the weekend, United have a great run of fixtures.

I'm thinking Alonso to Lovern/TAA now with the Gomez injury.

He might play a limited role anyway if Lukaku is back to fitness.

    Spotted this on Reddit

Aubameyang had more price rises (3) than points this GW (2) :pac:

Mitrovic or Jimenez for the Christmas run?

I'm leaning towards Mitrovic at the moment.

Both are good options, Mitro for me though

I think I'll bring Laca in for Arnie. I'm really not feeling Salah, their fixtures aren't amazing so I think I can get away without him. Son Eriksen or Sane. Son and Sane could be rested any time but have the ability to rack up monster scores. Eriksen consistent but I feel a bit underwhelmed with bringing him in. Not sure what to do just yet.

Janmaat is close to a return so Kiko (as a cheap enabler) will have some competition.
