Hey I'm looking to upgrade my i5 4690k to probably an i7 4770k or 4790k.

Which would be the best cost/performance ratio? And does any one have rough guide prices for the CPU's listed(used).

    Thanks

The 4790K is just an update to the 4770K that doesn't have the thermal/voltage problems of its predecessor.

They're not great value second-hand tbh; I only found a single one under 250 EUR on eBay.

For that price you can nearly start fresh with Ryzen 1600/2600 or i5-8400.

Just get an i7-4790 non-k from CEX for €120 and job done. Still major upgrade on the 4670K if you're looking at games.
