Navas had his place aswell ,I would not consider him a failure but his time had come by the time Pep had arrived.

Added to the fact Navas cost £15m.

That is a good deal considering the number of times we are going to be on Sky over the next 2 months plus all the additional Xmas matches they will be showing.

Yeah, that's why I posted it. Good time of the year for this kind of deal, if you don't have other ways of watching the games. 4 Liverpool games in that time but plenty of other matches to watch. There will be more games announced soon too.

    Bournemouth - Liverpool Sat 8th 12:30
    Liverpool - Man Utd Sun 16th 16:00
    Wolves - Liverpool Fri 21st 20:00
    Man City - Liverpool Jan 3rd 20:00

Where can you see the LFC match?
What the views on watching other matches when Liverpool are playing? - I usually wouldn't but......

I'm considering watching the first 15mins of the Liverpool match.

Switch over for entire first half of Man Utd - Arse.

Back for entire second half of 'Pool match.

    Last 15 minutes of ManU-Arse.

    Solid 2 hrs of football.

Hopefully there’s not too much tinkering with the team tonight. Play the best team.

I reckon Moreno and Origi will be the only changes. Keita must be close to a start though

Liverpool match on a river on my laptop.

Jose's Bus vs Arsenal on TV in background.

Tough gig but has to be done.

Cheers for that. They're just bloody great and watching this one in particular was fascinating given the way the game ended.

Have to say Marco Silva comes out of this a really good guy as far as I'm concerned - could easily have done a Warnock vs Wolves and pissed and moaned about Klopp's lack of respect but he hasn't made an issue of it at all.

No Mane, Robertson or Lovren tonight.

I don't think anyone called this team.

Alisson, Gomez, Van Dijk, Matip, Moreno, Henderson, Milner, Keita, Shaqiri, Sturridge, Origi.

Looks like it'll be a war of attrition tonight

Whoa! Changes ahoy. Camacho on the bench for kicks.

At least there is firepower if needed.

Gotta to admit I'm a bit hesitant after seeing that line-up especially with the changes up top.

Looks to me perhaps a diamond shape or 2 up top with Sturridge and Origi

It's a masterstroke if Klopp gets 3 points. Otherwise it'll be some **** up

Hopefully that should be enough for them...

    I wonder will it be

    Allison
    Gomez, Matip, VVD
    Milner, Henderson
    Shaqiri, Naby, Moreno
    Sturridge, Origi

A hit trick each for Sturridge and Origi with a hat trick of assists from Shaqiri and Keita.

Matip and Gomez also scoring in an 8 nil win.

Something had to be done, the attackers have been very poor this season.

Too many changes, methinks. By all means, rest a player or two, but half the defense and the entire attack...?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

None of the usual front three is a surprise. Thought there would be two or at worst one of them.

That said lots of games at the minute. Bournemouth away on Saturday morning and Napoli and United next week. Players can't play in every game.

    Some line up that.
This is going to be fun hehe.
Hopefully they get the job done

    Too many changes.

    Burnley are very poor.

We should be beating them with a 2nd string. Bournemouth will be a much tougher game.
Burnley cannot defend or keep the ball.

That’s the type of thing we’ve always messed up in the past. This is very dangerous

Burnley's defence is genuinely woeful alright... we're going to be on the constant attack camped around their box, so I suppose it makes sense to have Keita able to play through the lines to feet, but also the option of putting balls into the air for Origi to fight for... with our normal lineup, crosses into a packed area rarely lead anywhere.

Will also be interesting to see if Shaqiri and Sturridge can rekindle some of the magic they were creating in preseason. They had a great understanding in their few games together.

Keita's the one to watch primarily for me though - these are the games he was brought in for, with his "packing" statistics and all that lark.

Definitely an experiment but something had to be done. Our defence has been excellent this season but it hasn't been clicking in attack.
