Hi all,

Lidl have a weather station in stock at the moment https://www.lidl.ie/en/special-offers.htm?articleId=13949. This is seemingly their premium version.

Would this be any good or is there a better alternative at a similar price?

You're going to pay a lot more for anything else that does the same things,if you're on a budget try it, you have nothing to lose

On the subject of home weather stations has anyone got this Bresser or a similar model?

Just noticed the link i posted won't open, could be because it's on my Amazon account.

It's actually a Ventus w155 clone. I bought one last year, or maybe even the year before and it's been spot on. Decent range from the base and battery life is good.
Pressure readings are always the same or within 1mb of our nearest Met weather station in Newport, Mayo. Afaik windspeed tops out at 130km so if you live on the west coast you'll probably max it out a few times a year. Rainfall is accurate too.
It's been a decent starter kit, and I'll more than likely upgrade next year.
