I'm just waiting for someone to chime in that its their favourite song and they listen to it all year round. :D
Warning: Anyone who says that will get an instant 100 year forum ban.

Ronan it was all in jest, a bit of a running joke for the elves on here. I can't believe some people ask not to be charged if they dont hear their songs immediately. Some neck.

Anywho, I am pretty sure I know what song to request to get noticed by the boards.ie elves.

As far as I know, Nov 27th is the test date for frequencies and live transmissions.

Yep this is correct, just the 27th. Very locked down, only pre approved scripts can be read out etc.

Love it! Love that the song contest is back again this year. One of my favourite Christmas songs is This Christmas from a previous contest. I think it was by Funzo.

Tipperary is covered by the south East frequency. Same as BeatFM.

Time for my annual 'sneak the frequencies onto my husband's car radio' so I'm all ready for our trip to my parent's house before Christmas. :pac:

Nope. Tipp FM's main North Tipp transmitter is on 103.9 so this will override the Christmas FM transmission from Blackstairs Mountain on 103.8 in much of the county

Even then I think it may be weak, Clonmel and Carrick-on-Suir have their own transmitters for RTE services and Beat which are transmitted at far higher power from the higher Mount Leinster.

Now that Sligo has been added, if there are additional relays next Christmas I would imagine Castlebar/Mayo and Clonmel/Tipperary along with a midlands TX like Keeper Hill are quite close to the top of the list.

15 frequencies this year is fantastic coverage in fairness.

Do we have a time for when it's kicking off on Wednesday?

I will be away next week, so it's going live for me properly on Dec 1st. :)

Just copped I'll be on site for meetings & inspections tomorrow so will in all likelihood miss the launch... not happy with that at all.
May have to pop back to the car at 1pm just to hear the first song... which I expect to be 'Its beginning to look a alot like christmas' :)
