Testing CD/CDr quality?

I've found lately that certain CDs/CDRs of mine aren't playing on some of my computer/cd players but still play on others. I put this down to some CDrs being of a lesser quality and as such won't read on lower quality drives so my question is, is there any program out there that can physically read a CD/CDr and rank how…

I've found lately that certain CDs/CDRs of mine aren't playing on some of my computer/cd players but still play on others. I put this down to some CDrs being of a lesser quality and as such won't read on lower quality drives so my question is, is there any program out there that can physically read a CD/CDr and rank how high quality it is (on a percentage scale or whatever) so that ones with low quality rankings can be thrown out / recopied etc.

I think there are just two things:-

- experience
- the price you pay for them.
