Hopefully the foos are not as greedy as Fleetwood Mac with their gold circle prices.

Wouldnt think so, they didnt charge for pit tickets in London earlier this year.

Was thinking it was a bit quiet on the festival front. Guess most have sold any of their earlybird tickets and aren't selling more this side of Christmas so are saving line-up announcements..

Just going by the other gigs so far announced in RDS there has been gold circle(not sure about bon jovi thou).

Yup very unrealistic propositions so Muse and Smashing Pumpkins I happen to be a fan of both but is there much of a cross over there?, SP couldn't sell out Wembley arena so quite sure they have no business donning any sort of headline tag in a stadium.

AC/DC and the Foo Fighters makes zero sense, tickets for either are what €100? Why would promoters put them together at I'm assuming a similar price, either that or you've got an even more ludicrously expensive ticket to watch dots for many in a f#cking stadium!

Pumpkins playing Download Festival in England on 16 June.

Maybe that would tie in with a date at the Marquee over here...?

I'd like to see the pumpkins but I'd say I'll be the only one among my friends who'd be into them. they're the band my parents wouldn't let me go to in the point and I'm still holding a grudge

Sea Sessions announcement coming next week.

Wonder will we get a pre xmas announcement for Altogether Now?

Hard to know with it being the 1st year this year so nothing to go by but I'd be surprised if there was. Think POD would be focusing on Forbidden Fruit first. And guess the sudden death of John Reynolds might delay plans for next year.

Oh good point , forgot about FF. But FF dont announce till after the new year i think so even if they confirmed 1 or 2 headliners for ATN along with a few mid tier acts just to get the cash coming in for xmas

Unfortunately I have to take it back.

There's now a Pitch 1 (front third) and Pitch 2 (back two thirds) on the seating plan.

That's standard for pitch concerts these days. Killers had the same last year, it's crowd control rather than a cash cow I'd imagine
