Small CLaims Court

    Hi i recently made an application online for the Small Claims Court online but the cas has still not beeen initated and there does not seem to be anywhere i can pay the appropiate fee,

    The Court i choose was in correct Court and it has not been reassigned to a different court this is over 5 weeks now and no decision has been made on my Application yet.

    I took a small claims case a few months ago and ran into a similar problem - are you sure you have filled I'm all the requisite details?

    In my case the claim didn't initiate as I had put myself in as the personal representative of the claimant and hadn't filled in the full details of the claimant. Once you go through every box and fill all the forms there should be an option to submit your case.

    I was looking forward to taking a case but the respondent company saw sense and settled (at the last possible moment mind!)

    Hi yea i was asked to pick a court but the one i chose was in appropiate,

    this was the email i got back :

    Thank you for your Small Claims Application. This application is not appropriate for the District Court Office selected. We have reassigned your Small Claims Application to Dublin Metropolitan District Court who will be in contact with you in due course.

    as of yet i have had no response this is over 5 weeks ago...

    You can also write in to the district court:

    They may be able to follow up on your claim.

    Keep in mind in my case the venue was also changed but the reason they hadn't initiated the case was because required details were missing from my application.
