It's such a pity that there is nothing else going on in the world today, that all can do with the time is discuss issues about a one hundred year old war.

A woman's GP died and she can't get another one to take her on. She's afraid she'll have to go to A&E over Xmas. Or something like that

This is actually a very valid subject to bring up these days. My own GP practice has had a full and a semi retirement and now you have to bring a chair if you intend sitting in waiting room and an umbrella too as you are likely to be standing in line outside. And that is, if and when you manage to get an appointment. The practice seems to have taken in a whole new set of patients about same time. One doctor then left to fill vacancy in associated inner city practice, whilst a new one was taken on to hold the fort at south Dublin practice, which I have been attending since before I was born so to speak. Tons and tons of New Irish among the new influx of patients. Everyone needs a doctor, there is now a critical shortage of GPs, and I put it down to a combination of mud-managed immigration, failure of gubbermint to make provision and the profession itself.

This lad is dead right. The "righteous" British fighting for the freedom of small countries when they were occupying countries themselves, including this country.

Don't forget there were countless Irish, Scots and Welsh riding high on the hog of Imperialism. Nobody had blood-free hands in the dark and murky Empire.

It must be a city thing but I had zero relations in the British army and neither did the wife's family. And neither did any of my mates.
Maybe because we all originate from the West of Ireland.

But the Dubs who control the media have the familial links so they're going to ram it down all our throats

As a full blooded Dub (apart from de quarter Wesht a Oireland Galway/Mayo/Sligo blood wit de Scott surname, I am a proud West Brit of 45% Northern English blood. Dats almost pure bred Dubs for ya, we are West Brits by genetic code, we are De Capital, De Ruling Class! Btw according to Ancestry.com I have absolutely zero blood from Cork or Kerry, so to Corkonians our der, we are definitely a race apart and I see a case for applying to gubbermint for recognition as Ethnic Minority recognition, wit any benefits dat may apply greatly appreciated. Up de Coddle!
