Cheapest 1440p 120hz/144Hz 27"/larger?

Hi guys,

Looking to upgrade my 24" 60hz monitor. I was thinking 27inch or larger with 1440p and being at least 120Hz. I was initially considering ultrawide 1080p, but would probably benefit off of a spec increase better than just a wider screen. Budget is not set yet as I am looking to save for it and buy it during black friday.

In terms of what the monitor is used for, I'd like to say I play a lot of games, but it would almost be a lie. I just tend to not have a lot of time for it(and hence the request for the cheapest option) but, whenever I do play games, I do take notice of all the eye-candies. I'd still like to have a great experience whenever I can play.

NVidia. Great suggestion. Thank you very much! Would probably prefer a little cheaper than this, but I can definitely see its value. If I could afford this, I would definitely go for it. Thanks again.

Wouldn’t bother going larger than 27 inches. 1080 will look stupid on a screen that size that and 27 is just perfect for 1440.

Only minor issue is that it is a lightly curved monitor, which isn't to everyone's taste.

When I said 1080p, I was referring to 25 to 29inch ultrawide monitors. But yeah, 27 1440 would probably be the better upgrade anyway. Thanks a lot.

Keep in mind that Black Friday/Cyber Monday (23rd-26th) sales may bring some of the higher end models into your price range. Also, monitors tend to outlast your PC, so they are generally a decent investment if you want to throw a little more at them.

The first one was down to £260 around the start of October.

The second monitor was available for £220 in September. I remember because it dropped in price about a week after I ordered my LG one.

I'd say both will be reduced again over Black Friday.

It's only a new monitor I think and was never over €400 according to Camel.

It just seems a little inaccurate in Camel altogether as the price at the moment isn't 400 at the moment as it says.

Anyway, I was just wondering if it would be worth it to secure it now at this price(is it worth it at its price at the moment?). If it is relatively new, should I be willing to take a gamble at a possible small price discount as I wouldn't think something 'new' would go down much in price anyway, Black Friday or not. Would this be right?

That Samsung C32JG52 only released in September.
144HzMonitors.com reviewed the 27" version. Have a read of that.

That review is pretty amazing. It's for a different model though(hdr). Sadly, I don't think I can afford that model. It does look pretty well reviewed on a few sites. It was one of the screens that caught my interest until I saw the price tag

Found a site that tells us all about them. Looks to be perfect to me. Apparently the 52 is better than the 50 model so I think I'm going for the 52. The only question now, is the price. Should I get it now at a 20 euro discount on Italian amazon, or will it go a lot lower on BF even though it's a new panel?

The model 50 had a low price record on camel but that was just its preorder price and the 52 didn't have a similar offer.
