    Salah dire again.
Salah wasn’t dire. Not saying he was outstanding, but nowhere near dire. Mane was better, Bobby was worse. But the mid support to the front 3 remains a problem.

    Klopp still undefeated against Arsenal.

As I've said a few times this season, stopping your rivals from winning at home is never a bad result.

An absorbing match and a draw is a fair result, but ugh that goal disallowed in error is just so frustrating!!

    Ridiculous decision.

    Robbed by poor officiating.

The midfield was the problem today. Firmino had to drop far too deep to get involved and Fabinho doesn't look like a Klopp player yet.

I think Arsenal have probably surprised Liverpool with their new found tenacity. As for the wider picture - still unbeaten. A valuable away point against an inform top 6 side is not to be sneezed at but some will.

Shock horror Martin Keown saying it is better for Arsenal, Man City got to play Arsenal under a very different circumstances

Not the worst result considering an absolutely f**king dire performance. Thank Leno for flapping a cross for our goal. Our midfield was appalling & the front 3 played like we were up against Juventus when in reality it was Holding & Mustafi......

But dropping points to Arsenal is disappointing.

They played some fantastic one touch stuff around the box as well and gave the midfield the runaround for large parts. Decent performance from Arsenal, Pool were dire for large parts of the game but could still have gotten all three.

Just as an aside, i really don't like those last minute substitutions of bringing Matip on (or any centre back in any team) for a striker. I think it actually disrupts the defence more than it makes it more solid. With a minute to go, just let the same defence see out the last sixty seconds as they have throughout the previous 90 plus minutes.

5 points from playing the 3 big London clubs away isn't too shabby.

I couldn't believe my eyes for the equaliser.

It seemed like the danger had passed yet, rather than close the gap of the open goal, the lads seemed to part like the red sea.

A good point any other year but its the usual pessimism that city will prob get 100 points!

Good point in a normal season but when you are chasing this City side it’s 2 points dropped.

Don’t blame Allison for the goal. He had to come out once the ball was played in behind but poor defending for nobody to fall back and cover the goal once he was out.

If I was an Arsenal fan I'd be so annoyed with Ozil. The way he suddenly turns it on this season after three seasons of sitting on his hole.

Klopp played for the draw and got it. Arsenal much the better team.

    Salah dire again.

Midfield three (Milner goal aside) absolutely poison.

I wouldn't say Arsenal were the better team it was pretty even overall but Liverpool had the better chances. Goal wrongly ruled offside, VVD hit the post and the keeper made two good saves against him.

We're light in CM at the minute with the injuries to Kieta, Ox and Henderson so we couldn't freshen things up in there today.

Point is probably a fair result and I'd say the team/Klopp are very happy to get a point away at the Emirates.

Another game where we've looked neutered tactically.

Individually it was pretty good, but we kinda feel like we've been found out against the better sides. The jump in defence has kept us competitive but we're not being allowed to dictate the game.

If we win our home games and beat the trash teams we'll be there or there abouts.

That's the general opinion of someone who doesn't watch Arsenal games and get's their knowledge from the Sun

Thought Salah was much more like himself today, looked very dangerous,Mane brilliant.

Fabinho looked a bit overwhelmed at times but was still best of the midfield 3.

TAA was absolutely terrible especially towards the end he was brainless. Van Dyk is just on another level.

You're the one posting nonsense about Ozil

    EDIT:

My apologies, I only realised the reference to the Sun might be held to mean something else with Liverpool fans. Wasn't my intention.

Think Arsenal’s pressing caught us out a bit. They were snapping into challenges. There wasn’t much time on the ball and we are lacking a ball player in midfield that can bypass the press.

I think our own pressing had dropped off since last season. Whether intentional or not I don’t know.

He's hardly a pillar of consistency. I forgot he was even playing even when our midfield was a mess.

    Actually impressed with Arsenal.
Great manager and players totally invested into his ways already. Top four this year is going to be so tough never mind winning the league.
Glad for a point. Out of Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal last year we got 1 point.
    Good progress
