I'd hope we'll see a few tweaks to the controls and item management in the next few weeks now R* are seeing how it's working with the community.

Moved to Saint Denis with the story :(

Went fishing with Kieran to be interrupted by a skinny dipping guy

    Did that myself tonight!

Just another reminder about a bug in the camp where John, Jack and Abigail are not there....they disappear after chapter 2 and don't come back until chapter 4 I think. Something about going straight for the mission in chapter 2 means they disappear....I think for example there's a request from Jack to find some item but as he's not there he can't request it...

How do you rob a train without being recognized? I robbed a train earlier for the first time and I got quite a large sum of cash but during the robbery the 'Wanted' bounty sign popped up, I immediately jumped off the train and ran away. I was wearing a bandana to conceal my face but the law still knew it was me!! I ended up paying the bounty as I didnt want bounty hunters after me. Hardly worth it. Is there a way to rob trains and not get a bounty/wanted by law? i.e. change clothes work? Getting a better bandana/mask? Thoughts!?

The Bandana only works if you talk the law into believing it wasnt you who done it. I heard you can only pull this off with a low warrant.

Due north of the N in Ambarino and another well hidden cave below the I , if i recall the entrance is to the south and you have to crouch to get in.

Exactly what I was looking for :D
How Blair witch was that?? Course I drank the black goop. Couldn't bring myself to kill the raven, felt like it was a witch watching over her hut.
    Very cool.

I couldn't find the cave but did find a
    hobbit house
    :pac:

Is there any numbers on the satchel upgrades? +5, +10, double?

Having a very tough time with this game. I'm on chapter three and I'm not enjoying any of it. I'm trying my best, but the game feels like work, like a second job.

Tbh I really hate it :(

Did you play the first game? What is it your not enjoying controls , missions?

It's just north of that house !!!! go on theres a puzzle there too with buttons to press and gold to be had. The solution to the puzzle is
    prime numbers
but even telling you that isn't going to help you due to how sneaky they were with it :D

There's a very creepy spot a little north of the O in Lemoyne, look around it and you'll see what I mean. Haven't seen anything spooky actually happen but I wouldn't be surprised if it did during the night. I'm going to go back again to have another look.

    How cool is Pleasance!
raging/relieved I couldn't get into the plague barn. Found a comic in a house that I can give to Jack and found a double action revolver in a shack.

Went there but there was just a jolly looking man sitting on the porch that I couldn't interact with. Went all around the house but nothing. Want able to climb the stairs to the porch to get to him, strange.

Ah right, didn't know there was even anything to be got there! I must go back so. Did you notice anything odd about all the headstones?

Ah that's weird, he should start a conversation with you, I'll leave it at that! Maybe if you go back another time it'll change.

There's a big beautiful lavender field just directly above the "W" of West Elizabeth on the map. Looks amazing.

You can also follow the river to the left of it up north to meet a nice old woman...

@Enfilade, there was no way I was getting them gold bars without a quick Google, the shnakey bastards :pac:

@shrewdness, I had a bounty in Lamoyne, maybe that had to do with it. Have it paid off now so will head there next time in the area.

Thanks chaps, saw some really interesting places tonight, picked up some gold bars, found 2 weapons by stumbling across them, one really cool hewing hatchet (have to decide between that and the tomahawk) by a hut with a tree fallen through it. Was by the edge of a lake so did a spot of fishing. Found some amazing views across fields and climbing cliffs, met 2 very interesting characters by their campfires, 1 ridden with guilt for something he did South of Strawberry and another guy looking for his brother who went searching for gold.

Not 1 mission done but had a great session tonight. The only thing I didn't like was dominoes. Had my first game, thought it was shyte, shan't be playing again.

trying to relax after a day in work this is not the game to do it. Said I'd log in and do a mission. Spawned by the lake in camp. Well while I'm here. Fished for about 20 minutes, then when I was walking through the camp I passed by the poker table another 20 minutes, had a shave put some grease? in my hair, read a book about nature. Finally got to the mission.

Started off well then went to hell. Shoot out heavily outnumbered in a barn. Combat remains offal. I can get over that guns are not accurate as it adds a bit of realism but the combat is terribad. Trying to move around and then get in position but when aiming you're blocked by a random pole, cue another movement struggle. Then in the woods and trying to get into cover, first ran backwards to a tree, can't tell friend from foe, move forward climbed on top of instead of behind the rock when hitting the cover button, while I'm taking an age getting down mission fails as one of my allies is killed.

Think you may have a problem

Your horse being out of "whistling range" is taking the detail to stupid and annoying levels. Pretty sure every other AAA game with a horse has a spawn behind you feature when you call for it, for good reason.

Higher rating of bondage, larger the radius of whistle, less likely chance of your horse f&*^%ng off

Unfortunately I bought digital so I'm stuck.

Like I said I tried my best to find something in it I enjoy but I'm finding it all just miserably dull. I do want to see what happens with the characters but the game part is definitely a chore for me

You're hooked in so, what's not to like?

Tip I saw on Reddit; Short whistles calls your horse to you, long whistle tells your horse to follow you.

Ah I was looking at them for the names, never noticed the dates!

Here's the barn there. Will just link it in case it's a spoiler for anyone that hasn't been to Pleasance yet.

Is there a toggle to run on the horse? It's annoying to keep having to tap...

I think I have the toggle to run on foot but still have to button mash to sprint?
