Why arent they giving Rahul more time? Its not his fault theyre baking in a tent at 32 degrees with no A/c

That's a feckin disgrace. That tent should be air conned. Inhumane. As much as I don't like Rahul that's just not fair at all. I would completely freak out. Oh wait he's getting the time. I'd still freak.

God are they going to drag it out for another 25 mins now? Would have preferred a longer profile on each. Not a good quality final. Even the drawings of their designs looked messy. They need to stop trying to mess with the bakers for effect and just let us see good baking

Edit to add:
Kim-Joy’s show stopper isn’t great either.
Have to say Rahul’s show stopper seems to have been the best of a bad lot.

I don't like those scenery/structure challenges..would prefer a 3 tier birthday, wedding etc cake.

For the first time ever I didn't enjoy that final at all . And every showstopper looked awful . They looked sloppy and untidy and no comparison to some amazing previous ones

I think based on tonight he should have won.

Having said that he probably shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Crap final. It's not even the winner I'm annoyed about. The signature was boring, Ruby's Bear Gryll's comment summed up how stupid the technical was and the brief for the showstopper meant they all literally had to throw something together and didn't have a chance to shine.

Delighted for Rahul, I think he genuinely doesn't know how good he is. I think he has no confidence in his ability, but your'd hope this win helps him out of it. Also think he is probably very isolated in England, with all his family in India.
