Is there a maximum amount you are allowed to have in the bank or is it not means tested at all.

Also what about contributary old age pension? Is it the same?

    Contributary is not means tested.

Non contributary is means tested, any amount above €20k gets deductions made.

Hi, if a person has paid enough PRSI to qualify for Contributory Pension, there is no means test.

If a person has not enough (or no) PRSI contributions, the pension is means tested.
