I'm feeling rather blonde having watched this as I am still none the wiser as to what actually happened?

Yeah its a very vague and symbolic movie, I'm still a bit confused myself,
but my take is that the Slones were brother and sister and their kid was born out of incest. On top of that, they were both pretty crazy and had a warped world view in comparison to the rest of the world, likely a result of them being so cut off from it.

I also took the scene where Russell sees the wolves feasting on their own as a symbol to what actually really happened with the Slones. They were consumed by the dark in a sense and they both recognised that Russell got this, probably from reading his book or maybe just a sense. And this is why they spared him, and then the wolves sparing him, to symbolise it also.. I could be totally wrong, whats great though is not much happens in the movie, but that doesn't stop there being a lot to take in :D

I wonder if netflix will eventually start streaming in 3D suitable for e.g. oculus rift? I have this film in 3D and it is decent, but would be fantastic if you could watch 3d content in VR through netflix. I guess they would have to implement a seperate or updated app with a virtual viewing room and maybe there would be bandwidth issues, but presumably this is coming sooner or later.

Sky are currently looking for volunteers who have an interest in VR, I guess it's for a trial for something similar to what you suggest.

Well that is a pretty terrible list for November. I'm interested in Narcos but a little wary as it is a whole new cast.

I was thinking exactly the opposite.

Charlie Brooker, children of men, house of cards, the sinner, rogue 1, arrival, the windsors, the last kingdom, sabrina, frontier.

All of those are worth checking out at least imo, maybe they won't all be worth watching.

    Edit:

ooh and i missed this one on first reading:

    The Ballad Of Buster Scruggs#
Saddle up for six tales about the American frontier from the unique minds of Joel and Ethan Coen, who wrote and directed this anthology.

    Just a heads up -
There is an email circulating at the moment asking you to update your bank card. Looks like a very genuine netflix email. Netflix never ask you to update billing/banking card info via email.

    November looks amazing!

Would it be safe enough to assume that content added in November would be still there at Christmas? (... I know the Netflix stuff will always be).

Is that the Netflix Ireland list? Or a Netflix US list?

I would say that is a safe assumption.

I think most non-Netflix TV seasons and movies stay for a minimum of a year anyway.

There's new films from the Coen brothers and Orson Welles. Not many other services could provide that quality.

Plus, Kurt Russell as Santa Claus.

Maybe. I had thought one site somehow got the information and others were simply copying them - as most websites do.

I have often wondered at the origin of the lists for the US and never seen a list for releases to Netflix Ireland except the premier dates of their own content.

I used some old campus.ie credits to get on their Ireland mailing list. If you have Journalism credentials you can cite then you can just sign up for the official Ireland announcements mailing list on media.netflix.com.

The below is original content; the non-original stuff is listed in an excel file I can't copy paste as easily.
