I think he's safe, he's the default choice of people and will win at a canter

those polls were taken before casey made his announcement. The polls are old news.. the saying a week is a long time in politics is true.

those polls produced this weekend are already junk .

And casey is going to fix this? How so?

    He won't.

But it moves these, supposedly taboo, topics out into the open so that robust conversations can be had.

Which is what is needed in a healthy, fully functioning Democracy.

For security upgrades which would be standard for any president.... So not very interesting.

Ah, in fairness, I thought this was going to be one dull election race, but it's really the gift that keeps on giving at this stage. I'm heading down to the Tesco to buy one of these for next week and I suggest you all do the same. :pac:

    Perhaps but a minor issue.

Trump doesn't claim to be a socialist. Michael D on the other hand is hypocritical with his investment properties.

Pfft, we don't have one of those.

We have a Soros funded sjw societal dictatorship, where you're free to agree with this new wave left wing (and I always considered myself a socialist) lunacy or else.

    Glazers Out!

    He is indeed.

And the US is experiencing excellent financial growth. All the economic indicators are looking positive.

The man's a twat, and you may not agree with much he says (I know I don't), but he must be doing something right somewhere.

Newspaper catch-up on Weekend AM, sounds like it was security upgrades etc for the house, but he doesn’t actually live there and it isn’t clear if it is standard for the OPW to do this type of work. Might be sensationalism.

No media outlet trying to point out the poll was done before his comments during the week.

    One would be cynical indeed.

You do not live in a dictatorship, it is absolutely insulting to those who live under regimes where their rights are curtailed that you'd claim such nonsense to be true.

That's exactly what someone in a Soros funded sjw societal dictatorship would say.

Joking I agree btw, people who mention SJW and societal dictatorship should just sit at home with their tinfoil hats on. Surely missing out the word snowflake was an oversight?

He regularly stays in his house in galway, which has to have security, obviously.
If that's the story, it's a non story.

    Absolutely.
A vote for Casey is a vote by disenfranchised dunderheads who like to piss and moan but do absolutely nothing constructive to actually contribute anything useful or constructive to the situation.

So working and paying taxes makes you a dunderhead? You could well be right as I seemingly I have feck all to show for it. No forever home, health insurance or pension, yes indeed the crowd that get up in the morning are indeed fools.

The irony is that the Soros mentions stink to high noon. Why pick just that one specific philanthropist?

You do understand that Casey and president will not change any of that?

this is why Casey is the perfect safety valve. he allows the nation to vent it's trump/brexit/orban frustration without putting him into a position of power

A bit like Sinn Fein so.

It will send a message that people are no longer swallowing the narrative being pushed by the media and politicians of which MDH is the epitome of.

Voting for Casey allows a message to be sent to our moral highground masters that they don't speak for all of us with their sickening virtue signalling.
