Visa Advice Needed - Passport nearly out of space

Hello! I’m an Irish citizen and my Venezuelan partner is on a Stamp 4 (partnership) visa. The Stamp 4 is up for renewal soon and there is very little space left in her passport. We are very concerned that as the renewal visa will take up a full page in her passport, she will be left with very little room for future visas/travel stamps. As you may know, getting a new passport in the near future/medium term is virtually impossible. She has an expired passport with lots of space which we thought could be used for the renewal visa but from my research, I’m not convinced. Has anyone had a similar situation or have any potential solutions that we could try? Thanks in advance for all the help!

Apparently the Embassy in Germany is renewing passports?

Did you try an embassy? The one in Germany http://www.botschaft-venezuela.de has it on their website and it takes around 12 weeks according to them.

Hi. Thanks for the suggestion. ðŸ˜႒ Yes, we have done that and the passport is now valid until 2020. It’s essentially a one passport page sized stamp that acts as an extension. However, although valid, there is very little space left and only a new passport will solve that problem. Unless, anyone else has a suggestion?
