Only the Brave was a movie I should not have watched after a 2 day drinking binge.

Not sure about similar but The Good Place is fairly enjoyable and Boston 99 is hilarious.

I’ve been watching Brooklyn Nine Nine all day! Thanks for recommending it - I love it! :)

I liked Private Life a lot without loving it. Granted, I’ve becoming a tad more cynical towards the ‘woes of the (upper) middle class in Manhattan’ genre recently. But credit where credit is due: Tamara Jenkins has made a very candid tale of a couple’s troubled, frustrated path towards parenthood. It’s witty and probing, and never particularly sentimental. Hahn and Giamatti are two of the best for this sort of material: indeed, great to see Hahn finally getting such material outside of TV. Kayli Carter - very much a third lead in many respects - does a good job too. As said, didn’t completely love it, but it does what it does with absolute confidence.

Also, digging Maniac after two episodes. To be honest, I’m mostly onboard because it’s one of the only TV shows I’ve ever seen that feels like it would be at home on a big screen. Properly cinematic in a way very, very few TV shows are.

i really liked it when i saw it back in 2011 in the cinema but the guy beside me conked out after 20 mins and woke up when everyone was leaving

I had been looking forward to watch it when it was on Film 4 or similar a couple of years ago, I really struggled to stay awake too.

It's one of my favourite films of the decade. However, reading the book and watching the Alec Guinness miniseries possibly filled in a few gaps - it's a bit challenging to follow the narrative on first watch.

It's the only time I've fallen asleep at the cinema:pac: I though it was a girl thing, my brothers loved it.

Loving the 2nd season of Big Mouth. It's better than an already pretty good 1st season.

That's been there since it came out, they added the new episodes each week as they aired (unless it was removed again since).

I'm quite enjoying Star Trek Discovery, nothing new but entertaining enough imo.

Season 11 of the Big Bang theory is now on Netflix. I stopped watching it at season 7 on whatever channel it was on as it was painful. I then watched it when it was put up on Netflix and having watched episode 1 of season 11 and season 12 being the last one is a good call. It's not funny even slightly anymore.

I think E4 is 24/7 The Big Bang Theory and I agree, not a bit funny anymore

E4 was the channel I was trying to remember. I mean having kaley cuoco on a show can only get it so far and the awkward science joke only goes so far.

Watched the film February with Emma Roberts. Wasn't what I was expecting at all in a good way. It's about two girls left behind at a boarding school during a term break where there is a malevolent spirit. It sounds goofy but the different intersecting stories are handled well and there's a definite creepiness to the proceedings with a story that doesn't rely on cliche. To say anymore would give away a lot of spoilers.

Also talking about malevolent spirits, Malevolent is worth a watch as well.

I’m looking for something along the lines of mindhunter or the unabomber. I thought they were brilliant.
